Explore August highlights at Burpengary Manor Aged Care, with pet therapy, music, outings, and creative activities celebrating community spirit.
At Burpengary Manor Aged Care, August was filled with joy, creativity, and community spirit. Residents welcomed visits from pet therapy dog Xena and the charming Henny Penny chicks, both bringing endless smiles. Special pampering mornings with wine and treats added a touch of luxury, while uplifting performances by the big brass band, Rob Stevenson, and a talented guest singer filled our home with music.
We proudly celebrated Aged Care Employee Day, recognising the compassion of our team, and congratulated Ange on 8 years of service. Creativity flourished through painting, knitting, gardening, and cooking, with the men’s group proudly completing their bird feeders. We also brought Ekka to Burpengary, with carnival games, food and festivities, bringing more smiles and laughter to our halls.
With day care visits, indoor bowls, music therapy, and afternoons in the garden, August reflected the vibrant, caring community that makes Burpengary Manor truly special.
