Celebrate Burpengary community spirit with a look back at April’s joyful events, from Easter and Anzac Day to pampering, gardening, and music.
A Celebration of Community, Creativity and Care in Burpengary
April has been a wonderful and heartwarming month for our Burpengary community, and it was wonderful to see our residents as they enjoyed an amazing combination of events, meaningful activities and social occasions.
April started with a little bit of pampering as our ladies indulged themselves with a visit to the beauty salon. They had a relaxing day filled with treatments and laughter which left everyone glowing!
Our Memory Support group continued to thrive with varied programming on offer. Residents enjoyed a range of creative arts and crafts sessions, fun games, music therapy and all attended with a happy smile as they enjoyed Easter bingo day! They demonstrated great commitment in their gardening efforts, and they even helped to finish a beautiful new greenhouse, a space for plants to flourish and friendships to blossom.
April was a month of collective achievements and celebrations in the wider Burpengary community. Congratulations to Michael and Delia on their fabulous 65th wedding anniversary – what an amazing showcase of love and commitment!
Of course, Easter provided a fantastic highlight with high teas, raffles and themed photo shots ensuring plenty of smiles in every corner of our home, as well as fun with live entertainment from Rob Stevenson and bingo shenanigans keeping the spirits high throughout!
The Anzac Day service with all the residents gathered together had special poignancy as we recounted the great sacrifices of those that went before us.
Send us a message and one of our friendly team will be in touch.
